I had one pot accepted in the Feats of Clay XIV 2001 Exhibition. Feats of Clay is an important contemporary juried clay show sponsered by the Lincoln Arts & Culture Foundation in Lincoln, California. I was tickled to be accepted as this show is for established and emerging artists with a national overview of what's happening in clay.
The accepted pot was the first Rain Pot I had made. I had not planned on submitting the piece for sale, but one of the show requirements was that the piece be for sale. So I sent my baby off, hoping it would not sell and would come back home. Lo and behold, the pot was purchased by a sponser AND received a cash prize award. I can't complain.




The pot is 16" tall and was glazed and fired twice.
