I was fortunate to two snow pots accepted into the "57th Juried Exhibition" at the Sioux City Art Center in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a regional show that surveys work from eleven states.

One pot was a piece inspired by Kawase Hasui's woodblock prints. The pot was marked as so on the bottom of the pot. The piece for the show had to be for sale, so I put a hefty price on it to assure it's coming back home. Whoops, somebody liked it a lot and bought it.

A lot of pots that I want to keep get away from me like that. If it is a great pot, it doesn't matter what the price is. At the same time, I don't want to get outrageous on my prices and I do need to get pots circulating and visible.

The other pot was another snow pot.

I still got it. But don't call me! For the moment, I am not parting with this pot. Well......
