This black line drawing technique is very time consuming and all the glazing requires a steady hand. All the glaze is applied with a squeeze bulb fitted with a sports inflation needle. Makes for a lot of stiff neck muscles when I am glazing these pots.
I have yet to use this technique on another design, but I hope to shortly. The peonies in the backyard are, at this very moment, bursting and crying for attention. And here I sit at this...keyboard, when I should be tending to those peonies and the pots they could inspire. Tomorrow, tomorrow...
