Let me show you where that piece of Galle glass took me....

And another pot you saw in the unfinished state. This baby had a bunch of problems, which I was able to solve. I don't see any problem as the pot stands now.

I made a couple of rain pots and discovered a little overlooked trick that will make a big difference in how the finished pot "reads" as rain. I am confident this little trick will make future rain pots better than ever.

I was very comfortable throwing pots in the last week. I threw a number of pieces with this shape...and it is a shape I love. It is a shape a friend threw for me to decorate before I tried my hand at the wheel. He threw a couple pots, I would glaze and decorate then we would split the pots between us.

The first Chive pot was this shape and I could have sold it twenty times. I'll show you a pic of it next update.

I made this Alium pot, pictured above, with a bunch of birds in the trees in the backround. It's going to be a beauty....

Below, is a pic of a collection of my pots that a friend of mine has collected. He bought my very first pots. Many pieces pictured are "early" pots as he has bought my pots consisently over time. He has a lot of the best recent pieces as well, but they are in another room. This gentleman, Ed, had 2200 pots that he unloaded in a short space of time. A lot of Rookwood. When he sold all those pots, I asked him, "Well Ed, what are you going to buy now?" His answer. "Your pots, Tim." OOOhhhh, music to me ears!

You can click on the picture below to blow it up BIG should you want a better look at the pots.

I have yet to make many of the pieces I predicted I would three months ago. Frogs, the second picture tile and a hollyhock vase were all on the list. Will I get to them? I have one month left and the next week is booked for pots I threw and trimmed and that are wrapped in plastic and waiting for my attention. Rats...
