This photo is not really about the kontainer, but I'll show it to you anyway. The kiln is extra tall and I have a milk carton that I have to stand on when I load the kiln. I have a fiber gasket on the top edge of my kiln that I protect with a piece of plywood. I made a special hinge for the lid, which I could not get a photo of, that truely allows the lid to float free on the fiber gasket when it is closed.
