Art St. Louis presents an annual juried exhibition that is a survey of the artistic climate of St. Louis in a given year. The organization's backbone is Dion Dion and Robin Hirsch, two women dedicated to the organization. The juror for this exhibition was John Hallmark Neff.

I was fortunate to have two pots accepted for the show. One is a small, 7", Dragonfly pot in a green jade glaze. Fired four times! I knew this pot was going to be special when I threw it.




I wrote on the bottom in cobalt before I glazed it the first time, "This is a perfect pot." And indeed, I believe it is.

The other pot is a Chive pot. It has a commanding shape, 8" tall, was fired twice, and is another of my favorite pots.



Two killer pots. These pots are few and far between. Try as I might to make another, I can't.
