If you like blue, this is a great pot. This particular one is thin and light. To make this one, I throw, then trim the foot. While the pot is still wet, but firm ("leatherhard") I carve the flowers and grass. Then I wash the whole pot with cobalt. It dries for a week or so and then I very lightly sand the entire pot removing all the cobalt on the uncarved surface of the pot. After bisquing, I spray the pot with my glaze I call "Vivid Blue."

Blue on blue. It almost looks like glass.
