I am still making functional pieces as well as arty pieces.
Think of this as a "sketch" for a pot.
I have been making a lot of functional cups...
and dinner plates...
more cups...
and more cups.
If I make cups, I have to make some teapots. Right?
I am making "arty" pots at the same time. These are a "homage" to William Walley.
Different cup shapes.
I thought I might experiment with some low fire glazes. I bisque my pots to cone 05 or so and that is around 2000 degrees F. I figured that since I was firing to cone 05, why not do some glazing at that temperature as well?
Pictured are some of the BIG tiles. I am hoping I finally have the bugs worked out.
Pure inspiration!
I am still messing with the silver and copper frames. It has been one step forward and TWO steps back. This is the frame pictured in the last update with all the silver REMOVED! Don't ask.
I have a number of things in the works that I don't want to show- in full- just yet.
