I had to pull all of my recent tile panels out to measure them for the frames. You have probably seen a few of these before. I am finally getting around to making frames for them. The vision is very elaborate copper frames with silver decorations. We'll see.
The frames are cut. The first step of many. Many! Does that look like 500 bucks worth of copper?
The first two are experimentals.
I glazed the last few of my ceramic framed tiles. There will be no more of this design tile and frame. Too many problems. I'll design another.
Daisys in the snow.
A beautiful gourd. I just sent it off as a Christmas present.
A cobalt painting. Turned out nice.
Here is a before and after of a "Northern Lights" tile.
Here is one of my last oak tree tiles. Notice the line on it? The mold cracked and this is the last one.
The back is marked appropriately.
This big double sided pot was fired a third time and I am happy to report it survived just fine.
The rain side is close to what I want. I would like to push it again, but I wonder if I dare?
A happy and prosperous New Year to you all. May you get every pot you desire in the coming year. If I can help let me know. I keep a pot "wish list" whenever someone mentions something they would like, but is not available at the moment. Email me with your wishes and desires. I can turn mud into a dream.
