First, I will quickly show you five photos of the process for making one of my peony pendants. I adapted this process from a film I recently saw that showed some Chinese production methods. This is a crude adaption, but it works.

After that, I let 'em dry a bit, trim off the surplus, draw the lines that highlight the leaves, drill a hole for the chain, brush it down with a wet brush to soften the edges and put it aside to dry.

These will be a joy to glaze. And I can make 'em all different colors. Here are some other pics of what I have been making. I have been trying to make one of my 20" porcelain chargers every week. They take a ton of time. Here is a pic of how I trim the surface down.

And here is one that I have carved up. The entire orange background is a rendered full moon.

Here is another...

A few pots before they get worked on...

I have been making a number of unique tiles, or sets of tiles. These are little painting-like tiles with a built-in frame. first a Sumac scene...

A pond scene that will be very difficult to glaze. Ahhh, but if it works it will be stunning...

A set of four tiles that will end up being 9" x 12"...

I also made one for the Columbia shuttle. Here is the inspiration material...

Greenware waiting for the bisque kiln...

And I have just started working on a new pot with fish on it. I see a lot of water in my pots this year. Pond scenes, puddle scenes, rain scenes...

And when there is time, there is always some jewelry mold work to do...

No shortage of inspiration. Just a shortage of time...........
