I put all my vents through one window. I removed the window and covered a piece of 3/4 plywood with aluminum sheet on both sides. It is sealed into the opening and has a drip cap on the bottom to throw rain water off. The kiln kontainer is vented by a variable speed (shaded pole) Dayton squirrel cage blower (Model 4C445). I have it hooked up to a variable speed control, but I never use it. I let it the blower run full speed every time I fire. It is approximately a 450 cfm blower. You can get one at Grainger. I had to make a male collar for the intake that would accept the 6" flexible hose that vents the box. The flexible aluminum hose is connected to the fan collar with a band clamp. The small duct in the picture is for another purpose, the 6" flexible is for the kontainer and the big 12" is for my spray booth.

You have to be at least a little bit handy to build and install a kontainer like mine. Mine is a prototype and has a number of design problems I will point out as you proceed. The flexible hose will develop cracks as you flex it attaching and removing it from the kontainer. I just dab a little silicone on the cracks.
